Adding One Asset at a Time

To add an asset to a quote:
To add an Asset, follow these steps:
- Go to the relevant quote (if you are not already there).
- Click the Assets tab.
- Click the Add Asset button.
- Choose Manual from the drop-down list.
- Select the appropriate Product Name.
- Input the Serial Number.
- All other fields are optional.
- Click Save.
After saving the asset, you will need to add the following service information to the asset before saving:
- Coverage Start, SLA and Support Partner – internal or external partner are required
- Make sure to add a Cost, Markup % and Sales Price.
Importing Multiple Assets
The Sample File Template is a sample set of assets you can use to create a sample quote quickly and easily. Once you have added your assets to this file you can import the document to Owlytica.
Download Sample File TemplateTo import assets:
- Click on +Add Asset(s) to add an asset to the quote.
- Click the Import button.
- Upload the Sample File Template
NOTE: Company name and the coverage dates must be entered before you will be allowed to save an asset to a quote.
