Having successfully created a quote, individual Assets can now be linked to it.

To add an asset to a quote:

To add an Asset, follow these steps:

  • Go to the relevant quote (if you are not already there).
  • Click the Assets tab.
  • Click the Add Asset button.
  • Choose Manual from the drop-down list.
  • Select the appropriate Product Name.
  • Input the Serial Number.
  • All other fields are optional.
  • Click Save.

After saving the asset, you will need to add the following service information to the asset before saving:

  • Coverage Start, SLA and Support Partner – internal or external partner are required
  • Make sure to add a Cost, Markup % and Sales Price.

Importing Multiple Assets

The Sample File Template is a sample set of assets you can use to create a sample quote quickly and easily. Once you have added your assets to this file you can import the document to Owlytica.

Download Sample File Template

To import assets:

  • Click on +Add Asset(s) to add an asset to the quote.
  • Click the Import button.
  • Upload the Sample File Template
NOTE: Company name and the coverage dates must be entered before you will be allowed to save an asset to a quote.
