Converting Quotes to Contracts

Before you can convert a quote to a contract the quote will need to be approved.

There are two ways to approve a quote. The quote can be approved by a customer in the Customer Portal or someone from your internal team (such as a sales rep) can convert the quote to a contract in the Team Portal.

Customer Approval

A custom can approve a quote on the Customer Portal.

Please note that the Quote will need to have a Quote Status of Active for the Quote to show up in the Customer portal.

For a customer to approve a quote:

  • Once the customer has logged in , they would go to Quotes in the main navigation.
  • Click on the Active contract to be approved
  • Click the Approve button.

Internal Team Approval

To have an internal team member such as a sales rep approve a quote:

  • Go to the quote that needs to be approved.
  • Click the Approve button. A comment is needed to indicate how the team member has gotten confirmation of approval by a client.
  • Click the Confirm button.

Convert to Contract

Once the quote has been approved by the client or an internal team member a Convert to Contract button will appear on the quote page.

  • Click the Convert to Contract button.
  • You will get a prompt to verify that you are sure. Click Yes.
  • Your quote has now been converted to a contract.
  • It will now be available by going to Sales in the main navigation and clicking on Contracts.
