Converting Contracts From Draft to Active Status

To edit the status of an existing contract:

  • From the main menu navigate to Sales > Contracts.
  • Select an existing contract by clicking on the contract number in the left column.
  • Select Modify on the right, complete the necessary fields.
  • Under General Info change the Status dropdown from Draft to Active.
  • You can also set the status of a contract to Active when creating a new contract.
NOTE: A contract can only be set to active when it has the necessary information entered, as well as assets and signed contract attached. This is to enforce that every contract has a signed contract attached to the record.
