Set Up the Sales Rep Role

There are specific permissions required to assign a team member as a Sales Rep to a contract or a quote.

Instructions

To create the sales rep role.

  • Start by navigating to the Role Manager and select New Role in the top right hand corner.
  • Label the role and select Sales Rep for the Dashboard Kind.
  • Make sure to have these permissions turned on
    • Companies > See List of companies toggle on and select Sales Rep.
    • Assets > See list of assets toggle on and select Sales Rep.
      • Create New Asset  toggle on.
      • Show Asset toggle on.
    • Quotes > See List of Quotes toggle on and select Sales Rep.
      • Show Quote toggle on.
      • Manage Quote toggle on.
      • Archive Quote toggle on.
      • Create and Clone Quote toggle on.
    • Contracts > See List of Contracts toggle on and select Sales Rep.
      • Show Contract toggle on.
      • Create New Contract toggle on.
      • Manage Contract toggle on and select allowed or notes only.
    • Locations > See List of locations toggle on.
    • Providers > See List of Providers toggle on.
    • Partners > See list of partners toggle on.
    • Users > User List toggle on and select Sales Rep.
      • Create New User toggle on.
    • Shared > Assign as Sales Rep toggle on.
  • Scroll to the top of the Role Manager and select Save in the top right hand corner.
